About us
A house of prayer for a city on fire.
HolyHill began as a prayer meeting and never stopped being one. Today we're a multi-generational, multi-cultural family learning to love God and love our neighbors.
Our story
It started with twelve people and a promise.
In 2009, our founder Charles Badoe opened a living room for a Friday night prayer meeting. They had no building, no budget, and no plan beyond Psalm 85:6, “Will you not revive us again?”
2009
Twelve people gather in a living room to pray for revival in our city.
2013
HolyHill moves into its first building of its own.
2018
Friday Prayer & Revival Nights begin, and the room never empties.
2024
Our new sanctuary opens, seating 1,200 for worship.
Our vision
A people drawn by God's light and truth to His holy hill, revived in His presence and sent out to carry that light to others.
Our mission
HolyHill Revival Ministries exists to:
- 01
Follow the light
Lead people to Jesus, the light of the world.
- 02
Stand on truth
Teach God's Word faithfully.
- 03
Ascend to His presence
Cultivate worship, prayer, and repentance so hearts are revived.
- 04
Descend to serve
Send revived believers into homes, workplaces, and communities.
Statement of faith
What we believe.
Historic, Bible-centered Christianity, lived out in the power of the Holy Spirit.
- 01
The Scriptures
The Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God and our final authority for faith and life.
- 02
The Trinity
There is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- 03
Jesus Christ
Jesus is fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, crucified for our sins, and bodily raised from the dead.
- 04
Salvation
Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, a free gift offered to all.
- 05
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit empowers believers for holy living and bold witness, and His gifts are for the church today.
- 06
The Church
The church is the body of Christ, called to worship, make disciples, and serve the world in love.
- 07
Christ's Return
Jesus will return personally and visibly to judge the living and the dead and make all things new.
Leadership
Shepherds who serve.
